Foundation laying of school extension in Patika, Kashmir

The existing school in Patika which we had built before is currently full to the brink with 2 – 3 classes being held in one classroom. The shortage of classroom space was causing deep concern to the staff, parents and KRDF itself. It was affecting children’s education. In order to overcome this, Mr Iqbal (the Principal of school) has kindly donated the land to KRDF. We will be building additional 4 classrooms, one office, varandah, 2 toilets and a playground.

The new proposed site was inaugurated by KRDF trustee Mr Mahmood Hussain, Mr Javaid Rashid, teachers of school and local community.

We seek financial assistance to build this school. Donors can sponsor a classroom on the own name or the deceased name as Sadaqah Jariyah.
